ST. CLOUD, MN (KNSI) – Police are asking St. Cloud residents for any information about a driver involved in a hit-and-run accident with a bicyclist last week.
Police say an 11 year-old St. Cloud girl was crossing Northway Drive at 11th Avenue North when she was hit by an older green two-door car with rust on the bumpers. The car was driven by an older white male with a beard. There was also a female passenger in the car.
The girl told police she was knocked off the bike while crossing in a marked crosswalk, and the driver of the car left the scene without stopping. The girl was taken to St. Cloud Hospital to be treated for leg injuries.
