SAUK RAPIDS, Minn (KNSI) A St. Cloud man was killed Wednesday when the motorcycle he was driving hit a mounted mower blade that was attached to a tractor that was driving on U.S. Highway 10 north of Sauk Rapids.

The State Patrol says 45 year-old John Mihlbauer was dead at the scene.

The tractor driven by 56 year-old Charles Ertl of St. Joseph was southbound in the right lane of Highway 10 when the motorcycle rear-ended the mower blade. Ertl was not injured.

The accident was reported around 8:30 last night, south of Little Rock Lake.

The Patrol says there were two flashing lights and a rotating amber light on the tractor.
