ST. CLOUD, Minn. (KNSI) – A 21 year old St. Cloud man was taken to the hospital after being beaten and robbed at knifepoint.
Officers with the St. Cloud Police department were dispatched to the 1200 block of 15th Street North for a report of a robbery early Sunday morning. The victim claimed that he was attacked by three or four black males when he went outside for a cigarette.
According to reports, the suspects struck him several times in the head with their fists and kicked him several times in the head while he was on the ground. The suspects stole his wallet and a cell phone.
The suspects are described as three to four black males, between the heights of 6'0" to 6'2" with skinny builds, between the ages of 18 and 23.
One of the males displayed a black handheld knife with a three to four inch blade and held it to the victim's chest, but did not injure the victim with the knife.
The victim was transported to the St. Cloud Emergency Room to be treated for non-life threatening injuries.
