ST. CLOUD, Minn. (KNSI) - Police are looking for the driver involved in a hit and run accident in St. Cloud Saturday that sent a teenage pedestrian to the hospital.
St. Cloud police officers were dispatched to the 3200 block of 5th Street North for a hit and run complaint just before 2 p.m. Saturday.
Tulane Hardaway, 15, from St. Cloud, told investigators he was racing to across the street and thought he could beat an approaching car when he was struck by the green four-door passenger vehicle.
His legs were struck by the front right corner of the car, causing him to fall and strike his head and shoulder on the roadway. Hardaway was transported to St. Cloud Hospital, where he was treated for leg and shoulder swelling and released.
