St. Cloud domestic violence claims lead to one arrest, one man wanted

ST. CLOUD, Minn. (KNSI) – Two separate domestic violence incidents lead to one arrest and another man wanted by the police.

Just after midnight Friday night, St. Cloud Police were dispatched to the 200 block of 2nd Street Northeast for a domestic assault complaint. Officers learned that the victim, a 27 year old St. Cloud resident, had been assaulted by her boyfriend Doyle Maurice Dent, 34.

The victim received minor injuries, but refused medical attention from medics on the scene. Dent, a resident of St. Cloud, was taken to the Benton County Jail for felony domestic assault.

Sunday morning St. Cloud Police officers were sent to the 1300 block of 11th Avenue South for a domestic complaint. The victim, a 27 year old woman from St. Cloud, told police that her boyfriend assaulted her at their residence.

According to reports, when officers arrived, the boyfriend, 23 year old St. Cloud resident Cory David Homan, 23, had already fled the scene. Criminal charges are now pending against Homan.
