St. Cloud Burglar Gets Concurrent Sentences

ST. CLOUD, MN (KNSI) - Another sentence was handed down Thursday for a man who pleaded guilty to several St. Cloud-area burglaries.

Fifty eight year-old Robert Pfeifer was given three years and three months in prison at a sentencing in Benton County. He earlier pleaded guilty to several robberies in Stearns County, and was given four years in prison.

The Benton County sentence will run concurrent with the Stearns County sentence, meaning Pfeifer will not serve any additional prison time. Pfeifer burglarized several businesses, mostly by using a screwdriver to pry open doors, and then steal safes, cash registers and money.
