St. Cloud bike rider beaten, robbed in late night attack

ST. CLOUD, Minn. (KNSI) - Police investigators were searching for three or four men who attacked and robbed a bike rider late Wednesday night, according to a St. Cloud police spokesman.

The 31-year-old victim told officers he was riding his bike near 2nd Street North and 18th Avenue North when he was knocked from the bike just before 11:30 p.m. Wednesday, St. Cloud police Sgt. Jeff Janssen said.

The man said three or four men attacked him, punching and kicking him as they stole his wallet and cell phone before fleeing the scene.

The victim suffered minor injuries. The suspects were described as white men in the early 20s.
