ANOKA, Minn. (AP) Authorities say the death of a St. Paul woman whose body was found in a towed car is now a confirmed murder investigation.
The Anoka County sheriff's office said Wednesday the victim has been positively identified as 18-year-old Brittany Charise Clardy.
Clardy's body was found concealed in a car in a Columbia Heights impound yard on Feb. 21. Her body was found eight days after the car was towed from Brooklyn Park.
Authorities are not releasing details about how she died. The case is still under investigation by police in Columbia Heights, Brooklyn Park and St. Paul and the Anoka County sheriff's office.
