ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) — St. Paul police have identified the man fatally shot over the weekend.

The St. Paul Pioneer Press reports officers found 50-year-old Jeffery Thomas Elling, of St. Paul, dead at about 3 a.m. Sunday after receiving a report of shots fired.

Police arrested a 19-year-old St. Paul man at the scene. He's being held at the Ramsey County Jail pending possible charges.

Police have not provided details about what might have led to the shooting.
