ST. JOSEPH, Minn. (KNSI) The St. Joseph City Council could make a decision on a new police chief as early as Tuesday night.

A selection committee will narrow the list from five candidates to three, and those remaining candidates will interview with the council starting at 6:15 Tuesday night.

St. Joseph is looking for a new police chief to replace Pete Jansky, who is retiring in August. Jansky has been the chief since late 2001.
