St. Cloud PD closes death investigation

ST. CLOUD, Minn. (KNSI) Finally some answers into the mysterious death of a woman in St. Cloud last fall.

Fourty seven year-old Linette Brown of St. Cloud was found unconcious while lying in the 1200 block of East St. Germain Street on the night of September 23rd. That's near the location where she lived.

Brown was taken to the hospital where she died two days later.

St. Cloud Police Sergeant Jason Burke says an autopsy conducted by the Ramsey County Medical Examiner's Office has ruled the death accidental. The cause of death was a traumatic head injury due to a fall.

Burke says the St. Cloud Police Department considers the case closed, and is no longer investigating.
