ST. CLOUD, Minn. (KNSI) St. Cloud police say they cited 126 people during the recent "Click It or Ticket" campaign aimed at seat belt enforcement.
During the extra enforcement period--which ended June 2nd--only one child restraint violation was issued by St. Cloud police.
More than 350 unbelted drivers have been killed in Minnesota since 2010, representing 41-percent of all traffic deaths.
The "Click It or Ticket" campaign is part of the state's "Toward Zero Deaths" initiative designed to create a safe driving culture in Minnesota that supports a goal of zero road fatalities by practicing and promoting safe and smart driving behavior.
