St. Cloud man confronts burglars

ST. CLOUD, Minn. (KNSI) St. Cloud police say a man confronted two burglars at his home in south St. Cloud Wednesday morning.

The man told officers two men tried to kick in his kitchen door to get inside the home in the 300 block of Fifth Avenue South just after 11 am.

When the man confronted the suspects, they fled westbound toward Lake George.

The suspects are described as black male between 18 and 21 years old, and around five feet five to five feet seven inches tall. One was wearing a blue jacket with gray sleeves. The other was wearing a black jacket with a white hoodie.

No weapons were seen during the attempted burglary, and the homeowner was not injured.
