ST. CLOUD, Minn. (KNSI) A St. Cloud man has been arrested after police chased him in a vehicle through the city on Monday.

It started near 33rd Avenue South and Second Street when police spotted 19 year-old Brandon Knowlen in a stolen vehicle. He led police on a chase that ended when officers found him hiding in a garage at an apartment building in the 1400 block of Washington Memorial Drive.

Knowlen was arrested after a short struggle with police. He was being held in the Stearns County Jail on two counts of fleeing police in a motor vehicle, possessing a stolen vehicle, and obstructing the legal process.

Deputies with the Stearns County Sheriff's Office used stop sticks during the chase to deflate one of the tires on the vehicle Knowlen was driving.
