ST. CLOUD, Minn. (KNSI) The rain that's fallen lately has not taken us out of drought conditions, but it is enough for city officials in St. Cloud to lift the ban on recreational burning that's been in place for the past two weeks.

The ban was imposed after a very dry September and first two weeks of October.

Burning is now allowed again within the city limits, as long as it complies with burning regulations.

The fire department is cautioning people to watch out for the build-up of fallen leaves that can collect against homes, garages and vehicles. If those leaves are dried out, they can become a fire hazard.
