ST. CLOUD, Minn. (KNSI) St. Cloud has broken a streak of seven straight months of below normal temperatures.

The National Weather Service says the average temperature in St. Cloud in May was 57.6 degrees. That's 1.1 degree warmer than average.

But it was also a very wet month. Six-point-74 inches of rain fell, which is 3.79 inches above normal.

The Weather Service says for the months of March, April and May, precipitation in St. Cloud totaled 13.84 inches---which ranks as the second-wettest spring on record.
