ST. CLOUD, Minn. (KNSI) The National Weather Service has issued a Wind Advisory and a separate Wind Chill Advisory for the St. Cloud area.
The Wind Advisory is in effect from noon until 9 pm Saturday. Strong northwest winds will develop Saturday afternoon. Wind speeds will be from 25 to 35 miles per hour, with gusts to 50 miles per hour.
The strong winds may make for difficult driving, especially for high-profile or light weight vehicles.
The Wind Chill Advisory is posted from 9 pm Saturday until 11 am Sunday. Wind chill values from 25 below to 30 below zero will develop Saturday night and linger into Sunday morning. This will result in frostbite and lead to hypothermia if precautions are not taken.
