ST. CLOUD, Minn. (KNSI) St. Cloud has added to its record snowfall for the month of April.

Another 2.4 inches fell Monday.  That pushes the monthly total to 24.4 inches. St. Cloud has received 41 inches of snow since March first, and 78-and-a-half inches for the season.

The good news is a warmup is in store that will melt whatever signs are left that winter is still hanging around. Forecasters are calling for highs in the 60's to near 70 degrees by this weekend.

But in the near term, temperatures will remain well below normal. Tuesday's forecast high is 36 degrees. The normal high is 61.
