Snowmobile crash injures Richmond man

ALBANY, Minn. (KNSI) A 21 year-old Richmond man was taken to a hospital after a snowmobile accident in Stearns County last night.

The sheriff's office got the call just after 9:30. They say Chad Buerman was driving the snowmobile near a gravel pit in Farming Township when he went off an incline, dropped about 30 feet, and then rolled the sled when it hit the ground.

Buerman was taken by Melrose Ambulance to the Albany Hospital. No word on the extent of his injuries.

St. Martin Fire and Rescue and Stearns County deputies responded to that call.
