Snow, wind pound Minnesota

ST. CLOUD, Minn. (KNSI) The weather is making news across Minnesota.
The National Weather Service has issued a Blizzard Warning for western Minnesota until 1 am Tuesday. It includes Stearns County and points west and south of St. Cloud.
Snow began spreading eastward overnight. Total accumulations of 2 to 5 inches are expected.
Very strong winds are expected to last into Tuesday. West-northwest winds could gust to 50 miles an hour causing white out conditions south of Interstate 94 and west of Interstate 35.
Travel is not recommended in the Blizzard Warning area. If you do travel, you should have a winter survival kit with you and stay with your vehicle if you become stranded.
