ST. CLOUD, Minn. (KNSI) St. Cloud and central Minnesota could see another snowy weekend.
After an 11 inch snowfall last Sunday, forecasters at the National Weather Service Office in Chanhassen say more snow could pile up this weekend.
An area of low pressure will bring a mixed bag of precipitation to the area. Anything from freezing rain and snow to just all rain transitioning to snow will impact the area Friday night through Saturday.
The heaviest snow is expected to fall northwest of the low, with 2 to 4 inches possible in the St. Cloud area. Lesser amounts are expected in the Twin Cities area and southern Minnesota.
It will cool down behind this storm for Sunday, with dry conditions and near normal highs prevailing into the middle of next week.
St. Cloud has received 15 inches of snow so far this season. The current snow depth is nine inches.
