Snow in the forecast

ST. CLOUD, Minn. (KNSI) It's been a quiet start to December when it comes to our weather--but that could change this weekend.

The National Weather Service says what they're calling "an impressive storm system" will develop this weekend and could bring significant snow to the region.

There is still some uncertaintly over where exactly the system will track, but at this point, the Weather Service says two to four inches of snow across central Minnesota is not out of the question.

St. Cloud received a couple of inches of snow on Thanksgiving Day, but that's been it for measurable snow so far this season.
