ST. CLOUD, Minn. (KNSI) One more mild day in Minnesota, and then we head into the deep freeze.
The National Weather Service says high temperatures in the area today will climb into the mid 30's--well above the normal high of 21. But some big changes are in store for this weekend and early next week.
Strong northwest winds will usher in much colder air tomorrow. By Saturday night, we'll see lows near 10 below zero.
Sunday night and Monday night will bring overnight lows in the teens below zero to near 20 below.
Temperatures should begin to moderate by the middle of next week.
