FOLEY, Minn. (KNSI) The Benton County Sheriff's Office continues to investigate the death of 31 year-old Jamie Wylie of Foley.

His body was found on the side of Benton County Road 75 between Mayhew Lake Road and East Saint Germain Street on March 25th.

In a news release Wednesday, Sheriff Brad Bennett said an autopsy determined Wylie died from a gunshot wound. Previously, the sheriff's office would only say he died of homicidal violence.

Foley had been reported missing in December. Anyone with information on this case is asked to contact the Benton County Sheriff's Office or Tri-County CrimeStoppers.

The Minnesota BCA is assisting with the investigation.
