Sex Offender Relocation Prompts Public Meeting

ST. CLOUD, MN (KNSI) - A meeting will be held at St. Cloud City Hall next Thursday to let the public know about a level three sex offender who has moved to the city.

Fifty two year-old Marvin Smith has been charged at least 19 times with indecent conduct or indecent exposure since 1994. His most recent conviction came in 2009 in Sherburne County for indecent exposure--which landed him a prison sentence of 2-and-a-half years.

Smith is living in the 500-block of 9th Avenue North. As a level three offender, Smith is deemed the most likely of sex offenders to re-offend.
