Sex Offender Not Moving to Eden Lake

STEARNS COUNTY, Minn. (KNSI) - A convicted level-three sex offender who was expected to be moving into the Eden Lake area might have changed his mind.

Michael Klappenbach was scheduled to be releasec from custody today in order to move into a home in the 19000 block of Pirz Lake Road in Eden Lake Township.

The Stearns County Sheriff's office says they were told Klappenbach was no longer planning to move to that location.

Klappenbach is in the Stearns County Jail as of right now, and will stay there until he makes other arrangements.
