ST. PAUL, MN (KNSI) - A Big Lake man has been sentenced to 25 years in prison for producing videos of child pornography.
47-year-old Joel Zigler was sentenced yesterday in federal court after entering a guilty plea back in January. Zigler admitted he induced minors to perform sex acts in a Hibbing motel room back in October 2010 while he videotaped the encounter.
A search warrant served at Zigler's parents' home in Big Lake turned up those videos as well as the camcorder Zigler used.
