ST. CLOUD, Minn. (KNSI) -- A collision between a semi-truck and a pickup truck, Wednesday morning, has landed one in the hospital.
The Stearns County Sheriff's Office received a report of a vehicle crash at the intersection of County Road 2 and West Minnesota St. around 10 a.m. Wednesday morning.
The semi-truck, driven by Anthony Bruemmer, was northbound on County Road 2, while carrying large propane tanks, when the westbound pickup truck, driven by Lee Meyer, went to turn south on County Road 2 and collided with the semi.
Meyer was pinned inside his vehicle after the crash and was extricated by rescue staff. He was then transported by ambulance to St. Cloud Hospital. Bruemmer was treated at the scene for his injuries.
Both drivers were wearing their seatbelts.
The Roadway was closed for most of the afternoon while Sheriff's officials and Minnesota State Troopers investigated the crash.
The current condition of Meyer is not known at this time.
