ST. CLOUD, Minn. (KNSI) The Stearns County Highway Department says drivers can now use Twitter to report any traffic-related issues they see on county roads.
Whether it's a pothole, problems with a traffic signal light or other issues, they can be reported to the highway department by using the hashtag stearns highway.
The city of St. Cloud recently started using Twitter to receive reports of potholes, and Stearns County officials believe it can also be useful in receiving county road information from the public.
When reporting a problem, people should give an exact address or a very descriptive location to guide maintenance crews to the right spot.
The Stearns County Highway Department is responsible for maintaining just 1,000 miles of roads.
