ST. CLOUD (KNSI) - St. Cloud State University has officially ended its contract with Bernick's as it prepares to enter into a new campus beverage partnership.
SCSU Communications Director Adam Hammer confirms to KNSI that the University is now in contract negotiations with an exclusive vendor.
No word yet on company name or location, but sources close to KNSI say the vendor will offer Coca-Cola products.
Hammer says more details will be announced when the contract is completed.
The bid for SCSU beverage sponsorship was opened up to new proposals earlier this year.
Bernick’s is a fourth-generation family owned Pepsi product beverage and vending company. It was founded in 1916, and is based in St. Cloud.
