SAUK RAPIDS, Minn. (KNSI) Sauk Rapids police are asking residents to lock up their homes and vehicles after a rash of burglaries over the past two weeks.

Police Chief  Perry Beise says in the home burglaries, all of the homes were unoccupied at the time except for one, when a resident was sleeping at the time.

Most of the burglaries have occured in the area of Fourth Avenue North around the Good Shepherd Nursing Home and Apartments.

Anyone who sees anything suspicious should contact Sauk Rapids police, or dial 911.
