FOLEY, Minn. (KNSI) Jury selection begins today in the murder trial of a woman charged with killing her ex-husband in Sauk Rapids last year.
Thirty nine year-old Angelina O'Mara is charged with first and second-degree murder in the death of James O'Mara. He was found dead in his Sauk Rapids apartment last November of a gunshot wound to the head.
Angelina O'Mara is also charged with murdering her boyfriend--Michael Pies--whose body was found in a motel room in Ashland, Wisconsin. Pies had also been shot in the head.
Angelina O'Mara was arrested in Sioux Falls, South Dakota shortly after the killings.
Her trial in Benton County is expected to last about two weeks.
