LONG PRAIRIE, Minn. (KNSI) The Todd County Sheriff's Office says a Sauk Rapids man was injured in a hunting accident late Saturday afternoon.

Authorities say it happened four miles north of Long Prairie in Hartford Township.

The victim is identifed as Mike Dreher.  He suffered a single gunshot wound to the right chest. He was taken to the Long Prairie Hospital and later airlifted to North Memorial Medical Center.

The incident remains under investigation by the Todd County Sheriff's Office.
