SARTELL, Minn. (KNSI) Sartell police are investigating a report that a woman was abducted, assaulted and robbed.

In a news relase, police say the 56 year-old woman contacted police just before 2 o'clock this morning and told them she had gone inside the Sartell McDonalds. When she got back in her vehicle, a man wearing a ski mask was hiding in the back seat and told her to keep driving.

The woman drove from the scene and at some point was assaulted and choked unconcious. During the abduction, they went to a location and met with another man wearing a ski mask at which time they both demanded money from the victim.

The men drove the victim around the St. Cloud area and eventually pushed her from the vehicle. She went into the Coborns store in Sauk Rapids to call for help. Sauk Rapids police located the woman's car in the city--unoccupied--and found that the inside of the vehicle had been set on fire.

The victim, whose name has not been released, was taken to St. Cloud Hospital where she was treated and released. The investigation continues and police are tryhing to determine if the victim was specifically targeted, or if it was a random act.
