SARTELL, MN (KNSI) - Plans are moving forward for further development at Pinecone Central Park in Sartell.
The Sartell City Council has voted to spend nearly 800-thousand dollars for the development of several athletic fields, a pavilion and a storage building. The Pinecone Central Park Association and grant money will cover a smaller portion of the costs.
Project fundraiser Gordy Meyer says youth baseball fields at the park should be ready for play next summer, with soccer fields being ready in 2014.
