Sartell man injured in accidental shooting

CLARISSA, Minn. (KNSI) A Sartell man was injured Sunday in an accidental shooting.
The Todd County Sheriff's Office says it happened five miles north of Clarissa.
Twenty six year-old Daniel Hayes was unloading his firearm after deer hunting when the shotgun went off, striking him in the foot.
Hayes was taken by a private vehicle to the Staples Hospital, and was later transported to St. Cloud Hospital.
The injury was non life-threatening, and the case is still under investigation.
