ST. CLOUD, Minn. (KNSI) - Hundreds of runners from across the state will converge on St. Cloud this weekend for the CentraCare Health Earth Day Run.
Billed as Central Minnesota's premier race event, it features something for runners of all ages and experience levels.
The Half Marathon begins Saturday morning at 8:30 at St. Cloud State University and winds through neighborhoods and the Beaver Island Trail before ending at Husky Stadium.
The Half Marathon Relay also begins Saturday at 8:30 a.m.
The St. Cloud Subaru 5K Run/Walk is on Friday at 6:30 p.m., starting at Husky Stadium and winding through town before ending at Husky Stadium.
And the BLEND 1K is Friday at 6 p.m. for kids 12 and younger. BLEND stands for Better Living: Exercise and Nutrition daily.
Funds raised from the Earth Day Run go to support BLEND's efforts against the childhood obesity epidemic.
