EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. (KNSI) While the Minnesota Vikings wait to see how star receiver Percy Harvin's sprained left ankle responds in practice this week, they did receive some good news on the health of tight end Kyle Rudolph and safety Harrison Smith.
Coach Leslie Frazier says both players passed the necessary concussion tests this week, clearing the way for them to play in a pivotal NFC North game at Green Bay on Sunday. Rudolph and Smith both left the game against Chicago last weekend with concussions, and it was unclear earlier this week if they would be available for the game against the Packers.
Harvin has missed the last two games, but Frazier says he is hopeful the receiver will be able to practice this week. His status for the game remains unclear.
