FOLEY, Minn. (KNSI) A ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held this week to mark the completion of the Highway 23 road construction project from St. Cloud to Foley.
The Minnesota Department of Transportation says the event will be held Thursday morning at 10 a.m. on Glen Street near the city water tower in Foley.
The project--which began in March--added lanes to nine miles of the highway, which now means there are 37 uninterrupted miles of four-lane highway from Richmond to Foley.
Highway 23 reopened Friday night, in time for the firearms deer season opener.
