ST. CLOUD (KNSI) St. Cloud police arrested two men early this morning after a foiled robbery attempt.

Officers were called just after 2:00 am to the 700-block of 17th Avenue South on a report of an attempted burglary in progress.

The suspects had attempted to gain entry by cutting a screen to open a ground-level window when they were interrupted by a resident who was home at the time.

Officers checked the area for a suspect vehicle and eventually located the suspects in that vehicle at 9th Avenue and University Drive South.

They arrested 21 year-old John Paciorek of St. Cloud and 20 year-old Derrick Tacker of Clear Lake. They faces charges of attempted first degree burglary. Paciorek was also charged with possession of burglary tools.
