ST. CLOUD, Minn. (KNSI) One of the wettest months of June on record in St. Cloud got a little wetter Thursday.

Another .80 of an inch of rain fell, bringing the monthly total to 5.24 inches. That's more than two and a half inches above normal. 

For the year, St. Cloud has received 21.59 inches of precipitation. That's a whopping 10.64 inches above normal.

The area will have a chance to dry out on Friday with sunny skies expected, and highs in the mid 80s, but a chance of scattered thunderstorms return to the forecast this weekend.
