ST. CLOUD, Minn. (KNSI) The St. Cloud area could see its first measurable snow of the season tonight into Thursday morning.
The National Weather Service says showers and thunderstorms will develop across the region today, and move in a northeasterly direction.
Thunderstorms could become severe this afternoon across far eastern Minnesota and western Wisconsin.
Later tonight, the precipitation will turn over to snow, with accumulations of an inch or less possible in western and central Minnesota by noon Thursday.
Skies will clear on Friday setting the stage for a cool weekend with highs around 40 degrees.
