St. Cloud, Minn. (KNSI) A low pressure system moving across southern Minnesota Tuesday will spread rain across the region starting Monday morning that will linger through Wednesday morning.

Rainfall amounts of more than two inches are possible across western Minnesota, with lesser amounts to the south and east.

Another cold front coming through on Thursday will bring the coldest air of the fall with it, with lows in the 20s and highs in the 40s by the weekend.
