ST. CLOUD, Minn. (KNSI) An April 15th trial has been scheduled for a man charged with killing his mother in St. Cloud.
Fourty year-old Chad Pulju is charged with second-degree murder in the death of Geraldine Bennett. She was repeatedly stabbed and was found dead in her home at 2711 Atwood Drive on August 23rd.
Bennett was found covered in blood sitting in a chair in a screened-in porch, with Pulju standing behind her.
Investigators found a blood-covered folding knife at the scene.
Pulju told police he'd been drinking with his mother, and had no recollection of how she died.
Pulju is scheduled for a pre-trial hearing on January 31st.
He's being held in the Stearns County Jail on three million dollars bail.
