ST. CLOUD, Minn. (KNSI) Minnesota's 3,800 lottery retailers will be busy cranking out Powerball Lottery tickets until Wednesday night.
The jackpot--estimated at $425-million--is the largest in the game's history.
Minnesota State Lottery Executive Director Ed Van Petten says the jackpot has been building since October 4th. The previous high jackpot for Powerball was $365-million won by a group of ConAgra Foods workers in Lincoln, Nebraska in 2006.
Powerball tickets cost two dollars each, and can be purchased until 9 pm on the night of the drawing.
