Poll: Republicans like GOP field more

WASHINGTON (AP) - Nevermind all the pundits who say the GOP presidential field needs more candidates.
A new Associated Press-GfK poll finds that Republicans are growing more satisfied with their choices for president.

And so far they like what they're hearing from the newest GOP candidate, Texas Gov. Rick Perry.
The poll found that about two-thirds of Republicans and GOP-leaning independents are pleased with the party's presidential field, compared with about half in June.
And just 12 percent of those people have a negative impression of the Texas governor while 63 percent view him positively.
