ST. CLOUD (KNSI) - An investigation by newly appointed, full-time St. Cloud State University campus area police officers into an assault and robbery in the early morning hours on Sunday, August 18 has led to the arrest of two St. Cloud men.

SCPD's College Area Police Services Team, (CAPS) with the help of the St. Cloud SWAT team, executed a search warrant on Friday afternoon in the 1100 block of E. St. Germain St.

They arrested Kevon Ousley and George Gregory, both 19 years old and from St. Cloud.

According to reports, the CAPS team in charge of the investigation located evidence in that residence consistent with items taken during the assault and burglary.

The investigation began when a 22 year-old female and a 29 year-old male were assaulted and had items taken from them at the intersection of 5th Avenue South and Ramsey Place by four men on St. Cloud's south side around 4:15 on Sunday morning.

The male victim sustained minor injuries and received medical attention.

Gregory was arrested and released. Ousley remains in custody on pending charges of Aiding and Abetting Aggravated Robbery.

CAPS will continue to investigate, and say additional arrests are forthcoming.
