(KNSI)--St. Cloud police are investigating a pair of burglaries that occured last night--just two hours apart.
The first holdup took place around 9pm at Highway 23 and Wilson Avenue. Two St. Cloud residents told officers they were approached by three men as they walked toward the train bridge crossing Highway 23. One of the suspects displayed a black firearm, pointed it at one of the victims, and demanded property. He was handed a substanial amount of cash. The suspects fled westbound. A police K-9 was unable to track the suspects. They're described as two black men and one white man in their late teens to mid 20's, wearing dark hooded sweatshirts.
The second robbery happened at 11pm at a business in the 500 block of Highway 10 South. A person wearing all black clothing came into the lobby of the business and demanded cash. There was no weapon displayed. An undisclosed amount of cash was taken. A Sauk Rapids K-9 unit was unable to track the suspect.
