MORRISON COUNTY, Minn. (KNSI) - A man was airlifted after crashing his motorcycle in rural Richardson County.

The Morrison County Sheriff's Office says 22 year-old Christopher Zipf of Plymouth crashed on 370th Avenue south of Hwy. 27 on Saturday just before 3:00 p.m.

Zipf reportedly lost control of his motorcycle while passing another vehicle. 

Zipf was the only passenger on the motorcycle, and the only vehicle involved in the crash. He was not wearing a helmet. 

He was taken by North Memorial AirCare to St. Cloud Hospital. 

The crash remains under investigation.
