ANOKA, Minn. (KNSI) The Minnesota State Patrol says a pedestrian was struck and killed by a vehicle Monday night while crossing U.S. Highway 10 in Anoka.
It happened just after 7:30pmĀ at an uncontrolled crossing near Fairoak Avenue.
The pedestrian was jogging across the highway when they were struck by a car driving in the left lane of westbound Highway 10.
The pedestrian was dead at the scene. Their name has not been released.
The car was driven by a 39 year-old Mound man. He was taken to Mercy Hospital in Coon Rapids to be treated for minor injuries.
